Far from having been solved by efforts to combat predatory lending and subprime mortgages, Ohio's home foreclosure crisis is worsening as the recession continues. More than 85,000 foreclosures were filed in 2008 in Ohio, a number expected to rise this year with a 'second wave' of foreclosures stemming from job layoffs.
